This Versailles style bedroom suite is a classic set from JiaYi. Its
colour is a light cream with gold profiles. A delicate flower
motive is also used throughout the set. The chair uses a padded
silk upholstery, which is printed in the same floral pattern.
All the doors and drawers open to reveal that the exquisite detail doesn't stop on the outside.

Ladies sewing room is part of a large series of matching blue
and cream coloured bedroom furniture (see Number 094).
The exquisite detail carries on inside the wardrobe, with
its storage spaces and multitude of little drawers and
clothes rails. The dressing table even has swingable hat or wig
holders to add to the luxury of these miniatures. Throughout
the intricate carving and hand painting makes this series
some of the best from our studio.

These commodes with their replica marble tops and attention to detail are amazing.
Designed to emulate the originals that started to be built at the end of
the 17th century in the reign of Louis XV they quickly spread throughout
Europe. These are often called "Bombe Marble Top Commodes" and were used
originally to place a wash basin on top of and a chamber pot inside.
