The right hand side clock (No.4) had been modelled on an actual clock produced by the clock maker Alexander Kirkwood
of Parsley near Glasgow. This clock was built in ca 1770 and examples were shipped all over the world. They still
come up in auctions and indeed one was recently sold by F.J. & R.D.
Story (
see here ). The flat top was a typical
Scottish feature. With this clock you can add some serious period history to either a Georgian or Victorian house.
