The SD9008 (left hand in picture) is based upon an example we found on display in Blair Athol Castle in Pitlochery, Perthshire. The curator informed us that it dated to the very early Victorian era.

These items are all made from walnut.

The height of SD9009 (middle in Picture) is 10.75cm (4.5inch).

It might be afternoon tea being served in the drawing room or the master and lady of the house having their dinner served. Whichever it is, a serving trolly like this would have been used by the maids or butler.

The workmanship is simply stupendous, right down to the small working caster wheels at the back.
